Historically we're the email and banner agency for Google Pay (formerly Android Pay). For the rebrand our client challenged us to create YouTube bumper ads to promote the rebrand.
My art directors and I were searching stock videos left and right, finding plenty of happy, smiling people paying with their phones. But we didn't want that.
Then we found a puppy playing on an iPad. We laughed. I said "Save that. I can write to that." And "Payment puppies" were born.
