Amazon Flex Brand Video
This was no task for the weak: a brand video showcasing arguably the best gig work around....for 9 geos with different vest colors, delivery modes, and ethnicities...all in St Louis, Missouri.
The result: 492 videos localized for 9 geos (US, CA, MX, BR, UK, AU, JP, SG, IN) and 8 languages/accents. $3.1M saved. And a never-done-before (besides Family Guy) approach of live action and animation split-screen. Oh, and I strategically optimized talent sharing across geos, reducing on-screen talent from 39 to 17.
Beyond the feat: My Win-Win concept tells the story of 4 distinct Flex delivery partners who deliver packages on their preferred schedule so they can enjoy their passions in their free time. I used the Flex customer segmentation data (as a good Amazonian does) to develop characters that directly map to each distinct persona and feature a hobby that has universal appeal across geos—woodworker, soccer parent, retired hiker, and student gamer.
TL:DR, over a year of planning went into creating and executing on a concept that works for everywhere Amazon Flex is.
